What is La tasse?
Carrousel is proud to partner with the La tasse project to offer a simple and low-cost alternative to disposable cups, in order to reduce the impact of our daily consumption on the environment.
La Tasse is an initiative of the NPO La vague. It is a system of returnable cups, distributed in a network of more than 400 businesses across Quebec. Consumers get their cup in exchange for a $ 5 deposit, refunded when it is returned to any participating establishment. The cup is then washed and recirculated.
You may receive cups that don't look new! This is normal, as La Tasse is a returnable item, it is possible for all customers to return their excess stock which we then redistribute. This is an integral part of La Tasse project.
